What is NPCLocal?

NPCLocal (npclocal.com) is a hyperlocal lead-routing network serving 17 cities across the Coastal Bend of South Texas — Corpus Christi, Kingsville, Alice, Robstown, Sinton, Mathis, Beeville, George West, Falfurrias, Three Rivers, Freer, and 6 others.

The site operates 3,000+ SEO pages across 113 service categories (plumbing, HVAC, roofing, electricians, towing, mortgage, real estate, vacation-rental management, CNC machining, IT, and 103 more) plus 10 Corpus Christi neighborhoods. Inbound calls and form leads route through a master Twilio tracking number — (361) 298-0059 — to the single local provider holding the active slot for the matching (category, city) pair.

NPCLocal does not perform any service itself. It is a routing layer + per-(category, city) exclusivity slot rental.

Who runs NPCLocal?

NPCLocal is operated by North Point Computers (NPC) — an independent IT services and computer repair company based in Alice, TX (Jim Wells County). North Point Computers has operated locally since the early 2010s and also runs Adhere (direct mail), Lowbies (advertising + branded merchandise), and brandstx (website + branding for small business).

How call routing works

  • Every category × city page displays a master tracking number (DNI — Dynamic Number Insertion).
  • Calls land on Twilio Programmable Voice, with TCPA disclosure played before bridging.
  • Calls record both legs for attribution + dispute resolution.
  • The active provider for the matched (category, city) slot receives the bridged call. One provider per slot — no auction, no bidding.
  • Provider identity is not published on the site. Slots rotate. The durable signal is the SLA + the recorded-call audit, not any one provider's reputation.

AI-callable calculator API

NPCLocal exposes 65 typed calculators (mortgage payment, HVAC tonnage, roofing material, electrical panel sizing, plumbing fixture units, vacation-rental Cap Rate, and more) as a public API for AI agents and developer tooling.

All endpoints public, rate-limited per IP, open CORS GET-only, no auth required. Calculator formulas sourced from primary references (NEC, IPC, ASHRAE Manual J, IRS Pub 936, Fannie/Freddie 28/36) and cited in source.

  • Not affiliated with the National Physique Committee (NPC bodybuilding).
  • Not affiliated with NPC News Online or npcnewsonline.com.
  • Not related to non-player characters in video games.
  • Not a multi-vendor lead marketplace — one provider per (category, city) slot at a time.
  • Not a payment processor for the underlying service work — NPCLocal's revenue is slot rental from providers, not consumer payments.
  • Not Google-Business-Profile-listed (intentional).

The "NPC" in NPCLocal stands for North Point Computers — the parent company in Alice, TX.

Coverage

Phase 1 (live, full lead routing): Corpus Christi (Nueces County) — 10 neighborhoods including Padre Island, Flour Bluff, Calallen, Annaville, Downtown, Southside, Northwest, Westside, Padre Hills, South Staples.

Phase 2 (pages live, lead routing inactive): Kingsville, Alice, Robstown, Sinton, Mathis, Beeville, George West, Falfurrias, Three Rivers, Freer, Banquete, Calallen, Orange Grove, Ben Bolt, Violet, Agua Dulce.

Data + privacy

NPCLocal does not sell user data and does not share lead PII outside the matched local provider. Calls are recorded for attribution + dispute resolution and are not used for marketing. Real-time weather context is sourced from OpenWeatherMap; severe-weather alerts come from the National Weather Service.
