A plumber finishes a job and wants to prove to the next customer that he's a real business. He can claim his listing on our site, and we give him a badge and a link.

He can put that link on his own website or in a quote. When a customer clicks it, they land on his listing here. Search engines see the link too, which helps his own site rank better. It's proof he's not a ghost business. And it costs him nothing.

The badge just means he claimed his spot and showed up. We don't rank or vet pros, so it's not a seal of approval. But in a market where anyone can say anything online, being verifiably listed somewhere real matters.
