We have a directory where local businesses list their services. In late June, we broke the alert system that tells business owners when someone looks at their listing. A real customer would check out your business, and you wouldn't get a notification. We fixed that yesterday. Now when someone lands on your listing, you get an alert on your phone again.
We also cleaned up the noise. Automated bots crawl websites all day and night looking for information. Those bots were triggering alerts just like real customers were. Now we filter them out. A bot scanning the site at 3 a.m. won't send you a notification? A real person in Corpus Christi looking for your service will.
If you're a business owner on our map and you haven't been getting alerts, check your settings. You should start seeing them come through again.
