You need a computer fixed. You find a shop online, click to call, and the phone rings into the void. No one answers. The listing was real once, but the person moved or stopped taking calls. You've wasted ten minutes.
We changed how it works. The phone button only shows up when a pro actually said yes to taking calls right now. No listing, no button. No false hope. If you see it, someone is there to answer.
We also stopped publishing old phone numbers we pulled from the internet. You look up a pro and get a link to find them yourself on Google. It keeps their info honest and stops the spam calls that come from old directories. The pros we work with get a real phone button on their own page, and that's the real door.
