Call a tech.
Google connects you. Tap a name. Google handles the call.

We run a directory where you can find local techs in the Coastal Bend. Used to be you'd tap a tech's name and see their phone number right there. You could call them straight from the listing. We changed it. Now when you pick a tech, you tap their name and Google opens up with their full profile.
Why the switch. Phone numbers can get out of date. Google keeps their info live. If they update their hours or status, you see it right away.
This also means techs have control. If someone's not taking jobs right now, they can turn off their listing on Google. The directory respects that. You won't see a Call button for someone who's not ready.
