Coastal Bend repair techs can now pick their own hours and get paid a flat rate per job

NPCLocal is opening its repair network to independent techs in the Coastal Bend. A tech sets availability seven days in advance, sees the job, the flat pay, and the parts budget on one screen before accepting anything. Two schedule changes a month are built in for when something comes up, and a tech can decline a repair without penalty.

Parts that break in transit back to the customer are covered. Each completed job carries a 33-day warranty, and a legitimate callback pays the same rate as a new job. Approved repair shops can also post to the same private marketplace to find vetted techs, with no public job boards and no unvetted applicants, just shops and techs who are already in the system.
