Repair shops love to add fees. Diagnostic fee, handling fee, prep fee. It feels like you are paying for the privilege of paying them. We split it the other way. You pay for the actual repair. The five-dollar handling fee comes out of our pocket, not yours.
It is not a huge change, but it is honest. You see what the screen costs. You see what the battery costs. You do not see a surprise fee for us handling the device. That is our job.
