You search 'plumber near me Corpus Christi' or 'roofing contractor in Alice' and our listings page should appear near the top. We rewrote every city page to use the words people actually search for, not what sounds good to us.
Before, our pages said things like 'NPCLocal service directory for the Coastal Bend.' Now they say 'Licensed plumbers in Corpus Christi.' Google sees the match and shows our page higher in search results. You get faster access to local contractors, and the contractors get more traffic to their listings.
It's a small change but it adds up. Search results go to the pages that match what people are looking for, not the cleverest ones.
