You search for an HVAC tech in Corpus Christi and see a list. The one at the top used to be there because their page got the most views. That doesn't mean anyone actually called them.
We switched it. Now the ranking counts actual phone calls instead of just page visits. A pro who gets called moves up. One who sits pretty but never picks up the phone stays put. It's honest. You see the people your neighbors are actually reaching out to.
This took work because page visits are easy to count. But easy isn't useful. The ranking shows real demand, not just traffic.
