You search Google for 'roof repair near me' in Alice. The first result used to say 'Roofing Services and More.' Generic. Now it says 'Roof Repair in Alice: Fast Emergency Service.' That's what people actually search for. We rewrote business descriptions on our board to match real search words, not what sounds nice on a business card.
When a business description matches what you searched, you click it. When it explains what they do in words you'd use, you call them. We tested this and rewrote descriptions to line up with how people search. A roofer who used to say 'Residential and Commercial Roofing' now says 'Emergency Roof Repair: Same-Day Service in Corpus Christi.'
The pros didn't have to do anything. We handled the rewrite. The only thing that changed is you're more likely to find them when you need them.
