We started reading local news stories out loud. You can tap a play button and listen instead of read. You can speed it up or slow it down, and the player stays with you as you scroll.

This is new and we're still tuning it. Some days it works great. Some days the audio service hiccups and we fall back to text. But the idea is solid. You're driving, or you're busy, and you want to know what's happening in the Bend. Listen instead of read.
