Hearing aid information is clearer and more honest.
Styles. Costs. What insurance covers. Trial periods.

We rewrote the hearing aid information on our site because a lot of it was vague or outdated. We added clearer answers about the different styles, what they actually cost in South Texas, what Medicare and private insurance cover, and the honest talk about trial periods and how long they last.
The goal was to replace generic national info with stuff that reflects what people in the Coastal Bend actually deal with. Insurance coverage varies by plan, local audiologists have different pricing, and we wanted to be straight about that instead of pretending there's one answer.
It's still not a substitute for talking to an audiologist, but you'll know what to ask and what to expect before you call.
