For The Pros · NPCLocal

Independent techs who find work through us never see a customer's phone number.

We keep both sides' contact info private and give you three ways to coordinate the job instead.

New here? NPCLocal is our local-services site that connects Coastal Bend folks with local pros, plus a jobs board.

When a tech accepts a job from our directory, they don't get the customer's phone number. We keep that private. Instead, the job shows three buttons: Call them, Message, and Email. The call goes through our system so the tech's real number stays hidden. Messages and email work the same way.

This protects both sides. The customer doesn't have a stranger's number in their phone. The tech doesn't get calls outside the job or at odd hours. Everything goes through the directory, so there's a record of what was said and when.

The tech still sets his own meetup time and controls when he shows up. He just can't grab a phone number and cut us out of the deal. It keeps the whole thing honest.
