When you post a repair, the system shows you local techs who do that work. You can offer a price, base pay plus extra if you want it rushed. The tech sees the full offer: what he'll make, what the job is, when it needs to be done. He accepts or declines. You see the answer in minutes, not days.
The price is locked in. It doesn't go up once he accepts. And if something goes wrong, you both know the terms upfront.
