We keep a list of local roofers, electricians, plumbers, and other pros in the area. When someone looks them up or calls them through our directory, we track that so the pros know there's real demand.

For two weeks, we couldn't tell the difference between real people looking for help and fake clicks. That meant the pros weren't getting honest signals about who actually needed them.
