We rebuilt how pros rank on our site. For years, ranking was based on page views and clicks. That's a weak signal. Someone might land on a page by accident and never call.

Now we rank based on who gets actual phone calls. When you tap the phone number or hit the contact button, we count that. The ranking updates based on what real customers do, not accidental clicks or bot traffic.

This matters because it pushes good local pros to the top. If someone's been in business for fifteen years and people trust them, they show up higher. If a shop is new but getting real traction, you see that too. You're not looking at a mystery formula. You're looking at who your neighbors are actually calling.

We track page loads and real calls separately now. That way we can keep the ranking honest and catch when something goes wrong. It's the kind of thing that sounds simple but takes real work to build right.
