npclocal website looks different now.

We rebuilt the NPCLocal homepage and every page that comes after it. Killed the cream background and fancy serif font. Went with white, Arial Black for headers, and real contrast so you can actually read it.

The old design looked nice but it was hard to use on a phone. Single column now. No fancy spacing tricks. Images load fast because we optimized them as WebP files and prioritize the hero first.

Every sub-page got the same treatment: article pages, archives, the search results, the 404 page. Consistent. Simple. Fast.

This matters because most people find us on their phone while they're sitting in their car or at home. If the site is slow or hard to read, they leave. This redesign keeps them here.
