We used to use three different link shortening services. We switched to one system for everything. It's not glamorous, but it means when we post an event or a promotion, the link works and we can see where clicks come from. One system instead of three makes it easier to keep things running.
This is the kind of thing nobody notices until it breaks. We fixed it before it could break.
