We added Spanish to the jobs board. If you're looking for work in the Coastal Bend and English isn't your first language, you can now read every listing in Spanish and fill out your application in Spanish too.
The employer posts the job once in English. The system handles the translation on the seeker side. You get to choose your language when you land on the board. Toggle it right there at the top.
This matters because a lot of good work in South Texas happens in Spanish. Welders, HVAC techs, roofers, carpenters. If we're connecting local people with local jobs, we should meet them where they are.
Right now the job descriptions stay as the employer wrote them. We translate the buttons, the form fields, the safety tips. The safety summary when you apply. We're not messing with what the boss actually said about the work.
