We built a game that runs on an actual Corpus Christi map with real geographic data. You roam around the city, complete tasks, and collect creatures. The creatures are inspired by South Texas and Tex-Mex culture. The game has a collection menu where you can flip through everything you've found.
The map is the whole game. You walk around, you complete tasks to earn points, and you build your collection. Each creature has its own artwork and special abilities.
This started as a weekend project. We fed the game code to an AI and asked it to build out the creatures and the artwork. It worked. The game is available to play.
