A lot of people assume that if a business is listed on a site, the site has checked them out or they paid to be there. We needed to be clear that we don't do either. We're a free lookup tool. We're not a gatekeeper.
Every listing says that plainly. You know you're looking at a searchable list of local businesses, not a hand-picked list or a service that sells leads to businesses. That matters for trust. If you're checking us out, you should know exactly what we are.
