We added marine and port job categories to our job board, a website where workers find jobs and businesses find workers. If you need a crane operator, you post the job. If you need a roll-off dumpster (a large metal container that gets picked up and emptied) for a construction site or seawall repair (fixing the concrete walls that protect coastal property from water) for your property, those are searchable now.
The categories are active on the board. Workers looking for work see them. Businesses looking for help find them. Same system we use for every other trade.
These were gaps we found by looking at what people actually search for. Port work matters to the Coastal Bend. It should be easy to find.
