We built a Windows installer for our remote support tool this week. When you call for help, you download it, run it, and the tech can see your screen. No terminal commands. No pasting code.
We had to make sure it survives restarts and only lets the right people connect. That's harder than it sounds. Most remote support tools make you jump through hoops first. This one doesn't.
