A repair tech can reschedule a job without asking for permission every time. They get two rescheduled jobs per month. The customer gets a code they can use to approve it or decline it. If they decline, the tech can't force the change.

This solves a real problem. Sometimes a job gets bumped because parts are delayed or another emergency came in. Before, the tech had to track down the shop owner or manager to move it. They can do it themselves, as long as they follow the rules and the customer agrees.

The whole thing is built into the work agreement they already signed, alongside the warranty terms and the intake forms.
