When a tech finishes a repair, the work is covered for 33 days. If something breaks that he fixed, it's his to redo at no charge. The warranty is written into the agreement both sides sign, so there's no confusion later about what he promised.

Parts that break get counted and budgeted. If a part cracks on the way to a customer, the tech still gets paid. The agreement protects him from losing money on something that's not his fault, and it protects the customer from paying twice for the same repair.

This is the kind of thing that builds trust. A customer knows the work is solid for a month. A tech knows exactly what he's on the hook for and what he's not.
