Scam job posts get blocked.

You post a job on the board and a scammer tries to slip one in right after. We catch it. A classifier looks for the hallmarks, upfront fees, vague promises, too-good-to-be-true pay, and holds the post in a queue for me to review before it goes live.

This matters because job seekers in the Bend are tired of wasting time on fake postings. You post a real job and compete against noise. The board is quieter and more honest. Seekers trust it more. You get better applicants.

I'm not perfect at this yet. Some sketchy posts slip through, and some legit ones might get held by mistake. But every week the filter learns from what I flag, so it gets smarter. If you post a job and it doesn't show up right away, check your email, I might be asking you a quick question.
