If you live in Corpus Christi or Calallen and you search for 'heating and cooling' one day and 'calefacción y aire acondicionado' the next, you should find the same HVAC shops either way. We just made that work.
The problem was simple: people type what they think of, and that changes by day or by habit. A Spanish speaker might search 'fontanería' or 'plomero'. Someone looking for a tow might say 'grúa' or 'towing'. We had the pros listed, but the search system didn't recognize both words meant the same thing.
We added 297 alternate names across 64 service categories, in both languages. Now when you search, you get the same list of vetted local businesses no matter which word you use. No more dead ends, no more 'nobody does this work around here' when the pros are right there.
