Just For Fun

Three problems fixed before lunch.

One person, one shop, way too many projects. This is what a Tuesday looks like.

I had tea at six in the morning and looked at the list of problems. The search results weren't showing the right town and job type. The directory wasn't grouping similar job titles together. The tracking system couldn't tell me which listings were getting clicks. Three separate problems, all annoying, all fixable.

By noon, all three were done. The search results now show the town and the job type. The directory is grouping related job titles so people find what they're looking for. The tracking system is now counting clicks so I can see which listings are getting attention.

This is the weird part of running a one-person shop with AI helping me build and fix things. Most days feel impossible until they're not. You sit down with a problem, you think through it, you build it, you put it live. No meetings. No approval chains. No waiting for the right team. Just work and tea and the next problem.

I'm not saying it's faster or smarter than a big team. It's just different. Messier sometimes. But on a Tuesday like today, it means three things got better before most people finished their first cup of coffee.
