Unclaimed business pages stop handing out a number you can't reach.

if a pro hasn't set up their listing yet, you get a message form instead of a dead phone line.

Heron stands in grassy wetlands with rising sun and windmill in background.

You find a plumber or electrician on our directory and want to call them right now. But they haven't set up their listing yet. Instead of giving you a number that goes nowhere, we show you a form to send them a message. They get it, and they can get back to you.

The old way was worse. We'd hand out a catch-all number for unclaimed listings. You'd call, get routed somewhere unhelpful, and the actual pro wouldn't know you were looking for them. Now if they haven't claimed their spot, you reach them directly through a message.

Once a business sets up their listing and confirms it's real, the call button comes back. You get their real number. They get a customer who actually wants to talk to them, not a wrong number.
