Uploads should move faster on better connections.

You're in the Coastal Bend and you record a video on your phone. The goal is to get that file to our servers as fast as possible. We're looking at ways to make that happen more reliably.

Right now everything goes through standard paths. We're exploring whether taking shorter paths could help, especially when your signal isn't perfect. Fewer hops mean fewer chances for uploads to stall.

It's still in progress, but the thinking is solid. Faster uploads mean you finish recording and it's done uploading before you've even opened the app again.
