You record your screen to capture something you did. You save the file. Now you want to watch it back before you send it to someone. You can play it right there in your file list without opening another app or hunting through folders.

This saves you time. You're not bouncing between windows. You see what you recorded, decide if it's good, and move on. If it's not right, you can trim it or delete it right there too.
