We made a free mobile game tied to real local businesses.

We built a free game where you catch creatures called Kami. Each creature is tied to a real category of local business, restaurants, plumbers, hair salons, and so on. When you catch a restaurant Kami, it appears near an actual taquería on the map.

We redesigned the whole thing to look like South Texas. Your character is a vaquero. The map shows real shops across the Coastal Bend. Some creatures show up in specific spots. Others are common and you can find them from home.
