You can see real shops on the game map now.

Extension Quest is a game where you explore a map. We added a zoom level that shows your actual neighborhood. When you zoom in, you see real shops and businesses that exist in the Coastal Bend, drawn in the game's art style.

The map stays clean because we made sure the shop drawings don't pile on top of each other. You can see a coffee shop next to a hardware store next to a salon, whatever's actually there where you live.

It's a weird mix, part game and part real-world guide. But it works. You're playing a game and learning what's around you at the same time.
