We run 13 different websites for different trades: roofing, HVAC, towing, and others. They all use the same phone number. But we set up the system so you can tell which website the call came from.
If you're listed on the roofing website and someone calls, you see that the call came from roofing. If you're on the HVAC website, you see it came from HVAC. Same phone number. Different information.
It matters because it tells you which website is actually bringing you customers and which one isn't. You can see what people are searching for and which descriptions are pulling calls.
