When you trim a video down to the good part, you can move frame by frame and see exactly what you're cutting. If you change your mind in the next 24 hours, the full video is still there.
Deletes work the same way. You get 30 seconds to undo them right away. If you walk away and come back later, you have a full day to pull it back from the library.
This matters because most of us make mistakes when we're editing fast. You don't have to be perfect on the first pass.
