Every time someone clicks on a plumber, electrician, or roofer in the site, we keep track of it. We record which listings get clicked on most and which towns people are searching in. It sounds boring until you realize what it means: we can see what's working.
A pro's listing might look great, but if nobody clicks on it, something's wrong with the title, the description, or where it shows up in the results. We can spot that and think about how to improve it. We're learning what works and what doesn't as people use the site.
This is the kind of thing a big company would hire five people to track. We built a system once and let it run. We spend our time making the site smarter instead of guessing.
