You look up a plumber on our directory and find a page with no owner information yet. The old way, we'd give you a catch-all number. That was messy. You'd call a number that might not reach the right person.

Now we send you to Google Maps or Yelp instead. You look them up there, where the business has set up their own page and you know the number is real. We're a directory. We're not a phone switchboard.

It's a small change but it's the right call. Our job is to help you find local pros. If we don't know who they are yet, Google probably does.
