You see what North Point Computers does.
Our pages say we fix computers on-site and send you a bill.

We run a computer repair shop. We also run a directory where other local pros list themselves. Those are two different things, and our own pages were getting confused about which one we were.
When you looked us up, you'd see warnings about background checks and hiring plumbers. That's stuff for people using the directory to find someone they don't know. It wasn't us. We show up at your place, we fix your computer, we send you an invoice. So we rewrote our pages to say that instead.
The directory pages for other pros still have those warnings because that's what you need when you're hiring someone new. But when you're looking at us, you get the straight story: here's how we work, here's what it costs, here's how we bill. No confusion.
