You won't get a wrong phone number from us.

We run a local business directory. When you search for a plumber or electrician or computer shop, you should get the right person on the first call. For a while, if a business hadn't signed up to manage their own listing with us, we'd show you a phone number we pulled from somewhere else. That number might be old, or wrong, or belong to someone else entirely.

Now if a business hasn't signed up yet, we show you links to look them up on Google or a form to message them directly. You get real info, not a number that might ring the wrong desk. The businesses that have signed up and verified their info still show a direct call button, because we know that number is right.

It's a small shift, but it keeps you from wasting time calling a dead end or reaching the wrong person.
