Your business shows up better.

Last week we changed how every business and job post on our website appears in Google search results. No warning, no email, just rewrote the titles and descriptions. Some of you might have noticed.

The reason is practical. Google shows listings higher up in search results when they match what people actually search for. A generic description gets buried. A description that says 'roof repair after hail damage' shows up higher when someone searches for exactly that. We looked at real searches from real people around here and rewrote everything to match.

Did it work? Clicks are up. We can see it in the data. But we also know we're not done. Some listings might not fit the new descriptions perfectly.
