Your map opens to your neighborhood.

You open the map and it loads showing your neighborhood instead of zooming out to show the whole city first. That means you see the street you care about right away, at a size you can actually read.

The shops and buildings get bigger or smaller as you zoom, so they're never too small or too crowded. You can see what's around you without squinting or waiting for the map to load at a useless size.

It sounds simple, but it changes how the game feels. You're not constantly zooming in to see anything useful. You start where you are.
