Your phone number is the same everywhere.

We had two phone numbers floating around. One for the shop itself, one for the sales side. Google had one. Apple had another. Yelp had a third. A customer calling the wrong number would reach the wrong place or get confused.

We spent time last week cleaning that up. One number for the shop. One for sales. Both are now the same on Google, Apple, Yelp, Facebook, and our own business directory. You look us up anywhere, you get the right person on the first call.

It sounds like a small thing until you're the person on the receiving end of calls meant for someone else. We fixed it for ourselves. If you run a local business and you notice your number is different on Google than it is on Facebook, that's a problem worth solving.
