When you post a job on our service looking for a plumber or electrician, the person who takes the job never sees your phone number. We remove it on purpose. They get a time, an address, and what needs fixing. That's it.
This matters because you don't want a plumber calling you at dinner or texting you weeks later asking for side work. You also don't want your number in someone's phone if the job doesn't go well. Our website handles all the contact between you and the repair person. If something changes, we reach out to them, not you.
It's a small thing that changes how you feel about letting a stranger into your house.
