We built a game where you explore South Texas, catch creatures, and see who's mapped the most of the region. The creatures are named after real South Texas food and culture. Your starter creatures are Monte (named after Monterrey), Salsa, and Raspa (short for raspado, the frozen treat). You find them in the field and add them to your collection.

We publish a daily newspaper about what's happening in the Coastal Bend area of Texas. Until now, some of those stories sounded like they came out of a machine because they did. We added a layer that reads the whole thing, cuts the repetition, throws out the stuff nobody cares about, and rewrites what's left so it sounds like someone talking to a neighbor.
