A 5-star rating is more honest.
you see a softer claim. A business hits 5.0. The rating can still move. The wording stays true.

We show ratings for local shops. When a business earns a 5.0 star rating, we used to call it perfect. This week we changed that.
A 5.0 rating is real and it's impressive. But ratings change when new reviews come in. If we say perfect, and then someone posts a 4-star review, the rating drops and we look like we lied. So now we say 'currently a 5.0' or 'holding a 5.0 rating'. The wording stays true if the number shifts.
It's a small word change. It keeps us honest.
