A repair technician can reschedule a job without losing pay or approval.

He picks a new time, the customer agrees, and the shop gets 72 hours to coordinate.

A repair technician takes a job, then life happens. He needs to reschedule. He picks a different time, the customer gets asked if it works, and if they agree, the job moves. The shop gets notified so they can prep. The tech still gets paid what he was promised.

This is part of a bigger overhaul of how we handle repair jobs. A tech can always move work. The whole system is built around the idea that real people have real lives and plans change.

We rebuilt the job system from scratch this month. The job offers, the acceptance process, the warranty terms, the pay calculations, the reschedule logic, all of it. We had to. The old way was too rigid and it was costing us money when things went sideways.
