Every article in the North Point Daily gets a permanent link. That link will work ten years from now. We're not moving them. We're not deleting them. They're stored in a way that stays stable no matter what we rebuild.
Why this matters: right now, if you find a good story and share it, there's a chance it breaks in six months when the site changes. That's frustrating. We fixed it.
The links look normal. They're just solid. If you're a local business and you want to link to a story about storm prep or hail insurance, you can do it without worrying.
This is the kind of thing that feels boring until you need it. Then you're glad it's there.
