New Services

Hear local stories instead of reading them.

A voice reads the story to you. Hit play and listen.

You land on one of our articles and instead of scrolling, you can hit play. A computer voice reads the whole story to you while you drive, work, or do something else. The player sits at the top of the page and works on your phone or desktop.

We use a computer voice service to read the stories aloud. It's not a human voice, but it's clean and easy to follow. You can skip around if you want. Some stories work better this way, especially the longer ones.

This is still new and we're learning what works. Not every article needs audio, and we're not narrating everything yet. But if you'd rather listen than read, you've got that option now.
