For The Pros · NPCLocal

NPCLocal techs now set their own arrival times, hear job offers by phone, and see payment clear before they leave the house

New here? NPCLocal is our local-services site that connects Coastal Bend folks with local pros, plus a jobs board.

A winding path through a field with trees and a windmill under a cloudy sky.

Three changes shipped to the NPCLocal job board this week. When a tech accepts a job, the tech picks the time slot directly, and the system sends the customer a confirmation. No one waits on a callback to sort out scheduling.

Job offers now come as a real phone call, not an app notification or an email. The system reads the four-digit acceptance code slowly, one digit at a time, twice, then states the bonus amount as part of the offer. On the job card itself, the bonus appears first, labeled in a way that stands out, with the math showing what the tech earns for finishing fast. Payment from the customer clears at booking, before a tech accepts, so the money is confirmed in the system before anyone heads out the door.
