One person runs this shop and gets a hell of a lot done.

I run this shop alone in Alice, Texas. I fix computers, build websites for local businesses, and write this newsletter. I could not do any of it without software tools that handle half the work. They catch mistakes in code, help me think through hard problems, and let me release products that would normally take a team.

People ask if that is cheating. It is not. The work is mine. The decisions are mine. The tools are just that, like a hammer or a search engine. They are fast and they are cheap, which means I can keep prices low and still pay myself. It also means I release things faster than shops ten times my size. That feels like a fair trade.
